Privacy policy
What Military to Trades collects (almost nothing), what Cloudflare processes to run the site, and how to reach us. Effective November 3, 2026.
Military to Trades ("we", "us") is a free, independent information site. This policy covers militarytotrades.com.
What we collect
There are no accounts, sign-up forms, comment boxes or email lists on this site, and we do not ask you for personal information.
Email. If you email us, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards your message to our team inbox. We use it only to reply, and keep it only as long as needed to handle your message.
Hosting and security (Cloudflare). The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (IP address, browser type, the page requested, time) to deliver pages and block abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a small script Cloudflare adds to our pages. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage, and does not build a profile of you across sites. We see totals such as page views, referring sites, countries and device types, not individual visitors.
Cookies
We do not set cookies, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
What we share
We do not sell or share personal information. Service providers that run the site (Cloudflare for hosting, analytics and email forwarding) process the technical data described above. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Links to other sites
We link to government sources (BLS, O*NET, VA, the Department of Labor), to SkillBridge, and to our affiliated sites Veteran Trade Schools and Registered Trade Schools, which share ownership with Military to Trades. We do not accept paid placements or advertising today; see our methodology and disclosure. Once you click through to another site, that site's privacy policy applies.
Search engines, AI tools and machine-readable copies
Our public pages may also be published as plain-text or Markdown copies (for example llms.txt or a .md version of a page) so search engines and AI assistants can read them. These copies contain the same public content as the pages and never contain visitor data or anything you send us. Our robots.txt file says which automated crawlers may read the site.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We do not sell or share personal information. Email us at the address below to make a request. We will confirm the request came from you (usually by replying from the same email address) and answer within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
This site is for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
